Farmhouse Bathroom Lighting

Farmhouse bathroom lighting – The light in the bathroom plays a decisive role both in terms of functionality and mood. The bathroom is no longer just a utility room, but also, to a far greater extent, a living room that should be beautiful, cozy and practical. The lighting must therefore be carefully weighed so that all room functions are supported and at the same time a relaxing and inviting atmosphere is created.

What many bathrooms have in common is that not much daylight gets in. And that they are rarely bright enough with lamps. The result is a dark and gloomy room that is neither inviting nor functional. Work lamp: The specific lighting has a task-oriented purpose. This usually requires a particularly concentrated light source and a specific location to avoid shadows and reflections.

There are typically lots of mirrors and shiny surfaces in the bathroom. You should therefore pay attention to whether the light source can dazzle or cause annoying reflections. To avoid shadows, you can advantageously install two lamps pointing upwards at eye level on either side of the mirror. It will create good work light. On the other hand, avoid strong downward light from above. It creates unwanted shadows through the eyes, nose and chin.
