Measure inside the base and cut two additional 2-by-4 pieces to this size to use as reinforcement pieces. Light the vanity on the back and the center of the base at the bottom of the vanity. Screw through the bottom and into the bottom of the toilet. Paint the base the same color as your vanity so it blends in with the dresser. Stand your vanity upright and measure. Your vanity should now be 36 inches.
